IT Indiabull Private Limited is part of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry which continues to be one of the biggest long-term sustainable business opportunities that our country offers. Despite being one of the fastest-growing markets globally for FMCG products, India’s per capita FMCG consumption is still amongst the lowest in the world, giving the industry a long runway for growth. As the country navigated through the COVID crisis, the Government and the Reserve Bank of India took effective measures to support a robust economic recovery.
The impact of Covid-19 was more pronounced in metros and bigger towns, resulting in a slower recovery in urban markets. Global trade dynamics, volatile commodity cycles, and climate concerns continue to create challenges and uncertainties for companies and categories across the spectrum. New technologies are changing the landscape of the consumer goods market, bringing opportunities for brands and consumers alike. Consumers are shopping through more diverse channels and smaller local brands, as well as digital-first brands, are increasingly entering the market.
In these times, as the consumer and channel landscapes rapidly evolve, we continue to be agile and responsive to leverage market opportunities and deftly navigate through the challenges. We strive continually to be a diverse and inclusive organization, thereby enabling our people to bring their real selves to work. Apart from enabling infrastructure such as creche across 19 of our factories, we are making some of our large manufacturing sites accessible for persons with disabilities. Our multi-stakeholder & Multi Product model: Company established business of selling various health and herbal products including juices, soaps, shampoos, medicines, tablets, etc. under the name and style of IT Indiabull Private Limited in which Company purchases the goods from various manufacturers and selling then in its own packaging, therefore Company opted the formula of Shopee. Consumers across the country were relying on us to produce the household necessities they needed most during the pandemic, so it was essential that we kept our factories and distribution centers operating. We are grateful to our employees and to everyone in our extended value chain at our distributor points, depots, and third-party manufacturing sites, who made this happen. We saw many heroes coming to the fore–our people in our system and frontline sales, going above and beyond their jobs to grow our business, our medical & occupational health teams working very hard to keep our people safe, and many inspiring stories of our people volunteering their time to help communities around our sites. The company provides their health kit including juice, soap, eye-drops, etc. to the Shopkeepers (further called as their clients/customers) for selling further to their customers on which a fixed percentage of Commission to the shopkeepers provided for their sale. In this manner when the Clients are sure about their selling, they deposit the advance amount in the Company and take the goods in bulk for further sales which are shown as Loans & Advances in the books of the Company. Also, they appoint sub-Agent under their supervision for selling into their different areas and inform the same to the Company.
The sub-Agents who are dealing in this Shopee are considered as the Debtor of the Company and allotted Unique ID by the Company through which Company recorded their sales in the books, on the basis of which their Commission is determined. Thus, in the whole process, the Company purchases the Goods from Manufacturer and after labeling of their tag and further distribute it to their clients for selling to the customers and gives Commission on the sales made directly to the Clients and sub-agents. The company’s business relies on the hundreds of thousands of people who work in its value chain – including farmers, factory workers, small shop owners, waste recyclers and others. The Company can only create widescale change by giving people opportunities to improve their livelihoods. So, it is working to improve people’s health, confidence, and wellbeing; to create opportunities for all, and to respect and promote human rights.
